Become a member of the Nova Scotia Guides Association today! Membership in the N.S.G.A. is open to all persons without restriction. Becoming a member is one way to show support for and participate in the activities which promote wildlife conservation, woodsmenship and licensed guiding in Nova Scotia. All members are invited to attend Association meetings. Members who are provincially licensed hunting and fishing guides or seasonal campers may vote and hold office in the Association. Licensed hunting and fishing guides may also choose to be listed on this website.

By showing your membership card, you will receive a discount on camping and special event rates at our campground located at 396 Hibernia Road, South Brookfield, NS. This is the home of the Nova Scotia Guides Association. Please check our website at www.nsguides.ca or on Facebook for a camping rates and special events that will take place during the camping season.

Our Annual Guides Sports Meet is held at the campground on Labour Day weekend (Friday to Monday Inclusive) with registration on Friday. Events consist of fly casting, moose calling, sawing and chopping competitions, canoe and tub races, axe throwing at kettle boiling, to name a few. There are also dances, bingos, bake sales, and other entertainment.

As a thank you for being a member, on the 3rd weekend of September, we host a Member’s Weekend. All members will receive free camping, dance, and supper; however, you are required to pay for power (if required). You MUST present your membership card to be eligible to participate.
